A Taste of Fall

Can you believe we’re talking Fall trends already? I feel like one moment we’re talking Fall and the next we’re going to be seeing Christmas trees popping up. By the time we know it the holidays will already be here. I’m so excited for Fall because it’s my favorite season. It’s time to bring out jackets, booties, and our sweaters. It’s so much fun pulling outfits for this season, and a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit my local Macy’s and check out what’s in store for the Fall. This is one of the outfits I put together and the colors just screamed Fall to me. I loved the striped maxi dress and the slits it had on the sides. Since we live in California the months of August, September and a little bit of October are still quite warm. I thought this maxi was a perfect transition into Fall and I can’t forget to mention how comfortable the material feels.

I paired it with this super cute Free People jacket which is an army green color, and a staple for your closet. It matches perfectly with this maxi dress or with some black jeans and a simple white top. I feel like these pieces are key and can be paired with other items in your closet to create other looks. Every time I shop, that’s definitely one of the things I look for. Being able to mix and match pieces with other ones I have in my closet is essential. I loved how Macy’s has all these contemporary lines that are young and perfect for anyone. The little bag I’m wearing is from Patricia Nash. She has adorable designs that are trendy and lightweight! I love bags that aren’t too heavy especially since I have to also carry a diaper bag with me. Hope you enjoy this look!

¿Puedes creer que estámos hablando de tendencias de otoño? Siento que en un momento estamos hablando del otoño y al siguiente vamos a ver árboles navideños apareciendo por todos lados. Estoy muy emocionado por el otoño porque es mi temporada favorita. Es hora de sacar chaquetas, botines y nuestros suéteres. Es muy divertido combinar atuendos para esta temporada, y hace unas semanas visite la tienda Macy’s y ver qué hay de nuevo para el otoño. Este es uno de los atuendos que armé y los colores me recordaron mucho al otoño . Me encantó el vestido maxi de rayas y las aberturas que tenía a los lados. Como vivimos en California, los meses de agosto, septiembre y un poco de octubre todavía son bastante cálidos. Pensé que esta maxi era una transición perfecta y no puedo olvidar de mencionar lo cómodo que se siente el material.
Lo combiné con esta chaqueta súper linda de Free People, que es de color verde militar y un elemento básico para tu armario. Se combina perfectamente con este vestido maxi o con unos pantalones vaqueros negros y una blusa blanca. Siento que estas piezas son clave y se pueden combinar con otros elementos en tu armario para crear otros looks. Cada vez que compro prendas, esa es definitivamente una de las cosas que busco de poder mezclar y combinar piezas con otras que ya tengo en mi armario. Me encantó cómo Macy’s tiene todas estas líneas contemporáneas que son jóvenes y perfectas para cualquier persona. La bolsa que llevo es de Patricia Nash. ¡Ella tiene diseños adorables que son modernos y livianos! Me encantan las bolsas que no son demasiado pesadas, en especial porque también tengo que llevar una bolsa de pañales conmigo. ¡Espero que disfrutes este look!
