Fun in the Sun with Olay

Fun in the Sun with Olay

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Olay. The opinions and text are all mine.

Summer is almost here, and that means more fun in the sun. I remember when I was younger being able to tan and be in the sun for ours at a time. It’s all fun and games until the sun burns you, definitely not fun. One important thing that I learned in my 20’s was ALWAYS use a moisturizer with SPF. It doesn’t matter if you’ll be in the sun for a short or long period of time. The important thing is to always be protected with a great moisturizer, no matter what.

I’m sure you’ve seen that my go-to moisturizer is Olay’s Whip, which is called the, “Unicorn of Moisturizers.” Well that same moisturizer now has a SPF sister! I was so excited when I found out that my favorite moisturizer now has SPF 25 and will protect me against those sunrays. One of the things I love about this particular moisturizer is that is absorbs quickly onto my skin leaving it feeling light and moisturized. I know that when you think sunscreen you’re probably thinking about the stickiness and streaks that a normal sunscreen leaves you, but not this moisturizer! It blends with all skin tones leaving none of that sticky and oily residue.

Although 2/3 of women KNOW they should be wearing sunscreen only 1/3 ACTUALLY do. It’s so important to protect us from the sun. I always carry the moisturizer in my purse, just in case I forget in the morning to apply it. My grandma had a little piece of skin removed from her nose because of skin cancer and ever since then I knew I had to be extra careful. Although it’s nice to be out and get a tan we also have to take into consideration the dangers that the sun can cause. If you don’t have a summer skin regimen I highly recommend you try Olay’s Whip Moisturizer with SPF. It’s not like your ordinary sunscreen and trust me your skin will feel amazing and you can apply makeup with no problems! You can find it at your local Walgreens. And let me know what you think.
